Amélie is a consultant to IIP. She has served as both IIP's Senior Manager for U.S. and Global Programs, and IIP's Policy and Programs Manager. Prior to joining IIP, Amélie worked at the New Zealand Ministry for the Environment on the country’s international and domestic climate change policy, including supporting the UNFCCC negotiations on New Zealand’s emissions reduction goals, comparability of effort and carbon markets. Amélie also has analytical experience working on strategic and water policies for two sustainability think tanks: the Sustainable Future Institute and the Ecologic Foundation. Amélie has a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Biodiversity from Victoria University of Wellington, including an exchange at the University of California Berkeley.
